The Grooviest Covers of All Time: More Conan by Barry (Windsor-) Smith

Dig it, Groove-ophiles! It's been many, many moons since we last planted our peepers on some suh-weeeet Barry (Windsor-) Smith Conan the Barbarian covers--in fact it was way back here in 2009! Here's another half-dozen to go with that half-dozen, and these are far-out to the extreme, as well. Of course, Ol' Grooves of the mind that most any and/or all of BWS' Conan the Barbarian covers should be made into posters! Enjoy, baby!
To all you former FOOMers out there: you know this one was made into a poster!

  3. The joy of early Barry (Windsor-) Smith art. It's too bad Marvel was experiencing a dearth of good inkers at the time as I felt Sal Buscema was a mismatch for the pencils

As for the rest of ya, the purpose of this blog is to (re)introduce you to the great comics of the 1970s. If you like what you see, do what I do--go to a comics shop, bookstore, e-Bay or whatever and BUY YOUR OWN!
